Toll Free Numbers Are Not Just for Big Businesses

As soon as we mention ‘Toll Free Numbers’ the first thing that comes to our mind is the customer support division of companies that sell products or services. Yes that is true, originally toll free numbers were used by companies that wanted to make it easy for their customers who complained about having to call them and wait for longtime before their concerns are addressed. In the end customers had to pay huge telephone bills so they were hesitant to call these companies so even their simplest problems were left unresolved. This made some products very unpopular not because the products or the services were bad but the customers did not get the right advice and help at the right time. Many companies started using toll free numbers to encourage their customers to start calling them without having to worry about the telephone bill. Today almost all businesses use toll free numbers.
