Description of Company: Onebox, which is owned and operated by j2 Global Communications, Inc. and is based in Illinois, offers a number of outsourced virtual phone, fax and email services for businesses of all sizes in all geographical regions, as well as for individuals. Their parent company was started by Jaye Mueller and Jack Reiely in 1995, and acquired Onebox in 2004.
The Onebox Virtual PBX service enables small companies to receive the same benefits and image enhancement that large enterprises enjoy as a result of professional phone systems, without the cost or staffing. Their outsourced telecommunication services require no set up fees and no contracts. However, phone numbers that they provide are not actually owned by the customer, and Onebox charges a fee to port in or out any toll free number with their service. Onebox also offers online fax services, voicemail to email, and audio/web conferencing.
