Toll-Free Number: 1-800-720-5758
Brief Description: RingCentral offers many different services, toll free numbers being just one of the offerings. It can be difficult to figure which service to go for as there are many plan, installation, and equipment services offered.
The bottom line is that you can have a toll free number specific or 800 started for a set-up cost of $30.00. Note that you will NOT own number, and it cannot be ported, used with a different service, and is actually owned by RingCentral itself. Monthly plans are few: 300 minutes for $15, 1000 for $30, and 5000 minutes for $50 (note that this plan is called ‘unlimited’ on their site but their “Reasonable Use Policy” explains a cap on usage and any ‘excessive’ use plans will be investigated and changed to a costlier plan using their business office system. If you do not agree to switch systems your use of service may be terminated. Additional minutes are 6.0 cents. The calling area is nationwide, including Canada at no extra charges. Be prepared to pay extra taxes and fees monthly, generally up to $10.00 additional; So the 300 minute plan will actually run you $25.00 or slightly less each month.
There are no additional charges to start an account for toll free service and there are no annual contracts. Service can be paid for one year in advance to save a small amount on the monthly (not significant). Sales reps are knowledgeable but do try to tip toe around certain fees involved.

PROS: Knowledgeable customer service reps. No contracts. Different package plans. Toll Free can ring anywhere.
CONS: No toll free ownership or portability – if you don’t want to be with RingCentral any longer you will lose the number (all advertising of that number for your business will be lost and redone). Package deals are cheaper elsewhere for the same amount of usage. They offer a lot of specific business services and toll free number is not their main focus.
